Nomination
As hurricane Sandy started to knock out power all over New York, our ISP assured us they had three
days of emergency power. My system administrator and I had bad feelings about all of it. Already home
for the weekend, we managed to get the disaster recovery site on the other side of the country up and
running, fast. The basement of our ISP flooded less than an hour later taking them offline for two
weeks. That got us a nomination and a tad more respect.
